It's official -- Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are one of Hollywood’s Hottest Couples.
Hemsworth, 27, who portrays the Marvel Comics character in the upcoming films, Thor (costarring Natalie Portman) and The Avengers, grew up in Australia. He and Pataky, 34 – best known stateside for her role alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the 2006 film Snakes on a Plane – were married over the holiday.
Elsa and Chris met because they share the same representative in the United States, William Ward, who hired Pataky early summer. The couple were first spotted together in September at the opening gala and “Unmasking” for the Resnick Pavilion at LACMA.
However, during this time have preferred to keep their relationship private. Chris is the brother of Liam Hemsworth (Miley Cyrus ex-boyfriend).
Thor (Hemsworth) is a powerful warrior who is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
