Made Events has made it official: the third edition of its Electric Zoo outdoor electronic music festival will take place over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2-4, 2011) on Randall’s Island in New York City. Initially a two-day affair, Electric Zoo has expanded to include three days filled with DJs and live electronic music acts.
In only its second year, Electric Zoo 2010 saw a sold-out, 50,000-person crowd, with over 70 of the world’s best DJs dropping beats for two days of sunshine and dancing. Electric Zoo 2011 promises to be even bigger and better, expanding to three days over Labor Day Weekend: Friday, September 2nd to Sunday, September 4th, 2011 on Randall’s Island Park in New York
City.
Last year's lineup included 2010 DJ Mag Top 10 DJs Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Fedde LeGrand, and Axwell, as well as the Grammy-nominated Chemical Brothers, Wolfgang Gartner, and Dirty South - along with Moby, Richie Hawtin and Major Lazer.
The official 2011 line-up is still being finalized but you can buy a discounted three-day pass right now on the Electric Zoo website - limited time. So mark your calendars, because Made Event is offering a winter holiday early bird ticket special starting now!
