Ian Somerhalder who plays the evil Salvatore brother, Damon on “The Vampire Diaries”, celebrates birthday 32 today – HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN!!!!
Recently, Ian started his own charity “The Ian Somerhalder Foundation” which aims to empower, educate and collaborate with people and projects that positively impact the planet and its creatures.
Ian said, “There’s Generation X. There’s Generation Y. This generation is Generation Extinction. This generation holds that in their hands - the responsibility of it, and the power to change it. They have the ability to make the changes for themselves and for their environment. It’s pretty badass, if you think about how much they can do.”
The Ian Somerhalder Foundation mission will focus on habitat and biodiversity, clean energy and animals, with specific projects in reforestation, biodiversity, extinction and species-specific sterilization methods of domestic pets.
